Performance evaluation of administrative servers: an instrument for the management.

Summary: This work has addressed some questions about the Performance Evaluation of the technical-administrative servants in education of the Ifes - Campus of Alegre, in order to verify if the results of the Performance Evaluation Program contribute to the activity of managers and administrative servers of Ifes - Alegre campus. This research critically observed the understanding among those involved in the evaluation process regarding their influence according to the results obtained. It was tried to emphasize how the Performance Evaluation is used in the organizations and, mainly, in the federal public administration. In order to substantiate the analyzes, some institutional and administrative acts (laws, decrees, resolutions and etc.) on the subject were investigated. For the research, we also counted on the participation of immediate supervisors who were currently performing this function and also technical-administrative servants in education who listed and classified the servers of classes A, B, C, it was a qualitative study related to the Performance Evaluation process used in the Ifes - campus of Alegre and, for this, a questionnaire was applied with the intention of producing empirical data on how the personnel evaluation process is carried out. It is perceived that the Performance Evaluation currently used on campus is a 360 ° printed model, ie, it involves a questionnaire to fill out the following evaluations: "self-assessment", "hetero-evaluation" and "immediate management". After analyzing the results it was verified the need for a new Performance Evaluation model. The ALFA MODEL was suggested as the best alternative, based on freedom of evaluation and feedback.
