Summary: The quality of service delivery has been a concern of the Brazilian Public Administration. In this context, the training of the public servant plays a key role in achieving this goal. Not being different federal universities, through the career plans to which their servers are submitted, has sought to empower more and more of its workforce. In this sense, the training actions have played a fundamental role for the professional qualification of the public servant of these institutions. Among the training actions are, for example, the professional master's degree programs offered by many public universities, among which is the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). The objective of this research is to evaluate the contributions of the Professional Master in Public Management of the UFES in the professional performance of its graduates from the perspective of their managers. In the research was adopted a "mix" approach, better known as quanti-qualitative. As for its typology is descriptive in relation to the subject and bibliographical about the procedures. In the methodology, a questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument with multiple-choice and open questions, and this data collection instrument was applied to the managers of the UFES, who held positions with a Gratified Function (FG) or Management Position (CD) in the period from January 22, 2018 to April 22, 2018. Data analysis was performed through descriptive statistics and content analysis. In the analysis of the results we also sought to compare the training contributions perceived by the graduates with those perceived by the managers. Finally, this research closes with proposals for improvement.
