Summary: The purpose of this research is the application of a business processes management model and operating activities to the recovery of communal and functional federal credits within the Offices of the Federal Prosecutors in ES. The Business Process Management (BPM) aims to manage the organizational business processes to ensure consistent results and take advantage of opportunities for improvement from the use of diversified techniques and tools. The analysis involved the establishment of the co-operative governance to those activities and the implantation of the BPM unified cycle from the initial assessment of the team's maturity to the auditing of the processes implemented. The prioritized cases were examined, modelled, optimized, documented, and implemented. Its execution was monitored and audited. The results achieved such as the consolidation of the governance support for the operational activities of out-of-court reorganization of credits, the correction and fault identification in procedures and methodologies computation, the definition of the roles and responsibilities of staff, the visibility given to personal and general outcomes, and the highest potential risk activities identification at its request lead to the conclusion by the feasibility of the procedures of BPM in the chosen organ and contribute to the reflection about its use in Public Service Organizations.
