The research scenario was the Postgraduate Programs of UFES and the subjects involved teachers who had already acted as evaluators in previous evaluation processes within CAPES. The aim was to contribute to the administrative management processes inherent to the reality of the PRPPG, with emphasis on the standardization of the PPG monitoring processes. The results showed that the monitoring of PPG by external consultants who have already participated in the evaluation process of CAPES, helped to minimize the difficulty in understanding the indicators / targets proposed by the area document, made available by CAPES as a parameter for its evaluation systematics. From the analyzed data it was possible to elaborate a proposal of instruction that normalizes the activities of the PRPPG regarding the monitoring of the PPG, besides, it was created a summary using the main recommendations given by the consultants professors, constituting the technical product of the research.
