Summary: This study is inserted in the context of personal data protection and procedural
publicity. The judicial or procedural acts of the Electoral Justice are published in the
Electoral Justice Gazette (DJE) and contemplate personal data, including of a
sensitive nature. However, the General Law on Personal Data Protection, enacted in
2018, establishes specific rules for the treatment of such data. Thus, the general
objective of the research was to seek the elements to be observed to ensure
protection to personal and sensitive data in publications of judicial acts of the
Electoral Justice, in harmony with the principle of procedural publicity. To this end, a
documental analysis of a quali-quantitative nature was made of judicial acts in 65
DJE`s of the State of Espírito Santo, which were selected for convenience. These
documents were analyzed based on the rules of personal data protection, procedural
publicity and, also, in light of the Mosaic Theory. The results showed that in the
judicial acts published in the DJE`s there are personal and sensitive data without
adequate protection. Based on this, reflections and recommendations were proposed
that may have repercussions on the performance of magistrates and servers of the
Regional Electoral Court of Espírito Santo, which made up the technical-
technological product to be delivered to the head of this court. It is a technical report
per se to minimize the unwanted exposure of personal information on the World Wide
Web and the risks of the formation of a mosaic of personal data.
